There is offcourse a lot of organised excursions in Crete, from relaxing tours with the little train to the hard walk of the Samaria Gorge, the longest canyon in Europe.
We have chosen a few of them here.
Crete has more than 1600 towns and villages, from buzy cities to small hidden coast- and mountain villages with only a handfull inhibitants.
To mention all would be impossible, but we have listed up a few that, after our opinion, is worth a visit.
