 Falassarna.Our favorite beach. Located on the west coast of Crete. Drive through Kissamos and to Platanos. Signs will take you to Falassarna from here. The beach offers several tavernas, toilets and sunbeds. Time to reach from Villa Marella 30-40 minutes. |  Elafonissi.This is the most beautiful beach in Crete. Drive towards Kissamos, when you reach the straight stretch before Kissamos, turn left (two possibilities) and follow the signs. 1,5 hours from Villa Marella. |  Balos / Gramvoussa.Drive through Kissamos to the harbour. A boat will take you to these beaches. Several departures every day. |

 Paleochora.A very nice beach in Paleochora. Sunbeds. Tavernas / Restaurants. Drive over the bridge passing the highway and continue on this road all the way to Paleochora on the south coast. Approx. 1 hour 10 minutes. |  Preveli.Palm Beach with river where you can rent pedal boats. FANTASTIC! Drive to Rethymnon, take off towards Spili and drive across the island. Follow signs to the Monastery of Preveli (Monastry). You can park at the monastery and walk down stairs or turn left at the tavern 3 km before the monastery and drive almost down to the beach on a little creepy bad way. |  Maria-beach in Kissamos.Drive to and almost through Kissamos to a bridge with yellow railings. Here you take the right, signs for Maria Beach. Fine sandy beach with smaller waves if the wind blows. Many tavernas / restaurants. Approximately 15 minutes drive. |
 Stavros beach.Stavros is known from the film Zorba 1964. Great beach. Drive towards the airport and turn off at the sign to Stavros shortly after the first roundabout. Approx. 45 minutes drive. |  Kato Daratso.Actually several beaches in sheltered coves near the city of Chania. Take the highway to exit Galatas, turn right down by the sea and drive to the traffic lights whwre you see Inka and Lidl to the left. Turn left here and drive down to the beaches. Approximately 20 minutes drive. |  Kato Stalos.Take the highway towards Chania and take the galatas exit. drive to the left Down to the sea, and take a left turn, and you are there. Quiet beach with less people. Sandy. |
 Platanias.In the middle of the tourist machine Platanias. Long beach with many access routes from the street in Platanias. Many restaurants with sunbeds. Take the highway to exit Platanias or old road past Maleme and Gerani. 10 minutes drive. |  Maleme.Pebble beach, not shallow. In Maleme, just 5 minutes from Tavronitis on the coastal road. Several restaurants and sunbeds. |  Kolymbari.Pebble beach in Kolymbari just by the restaurants. Only 5 minutes drive on the highway or the coast road. |
