Argyroupolis is a village With approximately 700 inhibitants, located in the mountain area 23 km Southwest of Rethymnon. The village is famous for its many waterfalls, running all year.
The waterfalls is actually running through the tavernas which is located in the hillside beneath the village.
All of the tavernas has its own waterfall, and the waterfalls are illuminated in the night.
The village itself is also worth a visit, and a beautiful scenic path is leading from the tavernas up through the woods to the village.
